The Akrofi-Christaller Memorial Centre for Mission Research and Applied Theology, is a scholarly institution established by the Presbyterian Church of Ghana to serve the wider Christian community in Ghana and Africa.
The Centre is committed to pursuing excellence in both its academic and pastoral concerns, relating to the twin foci of research and publication on the life and witness of the Churches in Ghana and Africa as a whole, and mission training and renewal programmes for church workers.
As an institution dedicated to mission and ministry, the ACMC seeks to serve the wider Christian community, in Ghana, Africa and even further afield, by focusing its research and training on issues of Christian mission and ministry in the African context, in order to help the Christian community in Africa to better understand its task and to witness more effectively to the Kingdom of God.
